We've been blessed to be Brooks' parents for one month now... and it has been AMAZING! Brooks has had a super active month with being born and all. Plus, he's gone on several "field trips" and had tons of visitors and admirers. First, he had Mema and Papa (my parents) stay with him an entire week. This was a great week for all of us. Brooks even went out for an Italian dinner during that time on his 1 week birthday! Next, he celebrated his very first holiday, the 4th of July, in Pass Christian, Mississippi. He enjoyed spending time with his Maw Maw and Paw Paw (Chad's parents), aunts, uncles, and cousins. Aunt Kerrie even talked Mommy into doing an overnight on this trip. With Brooks being only 10 days old, we packed the entire house for our one night stay! Brooks did great! At three weeks old, Brooks took his first trip to New Orleans. He spent a nice afternoon with Maw Maw and Paw Paw while Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a late lunch date in the French Quarter. Brooks is growing so fast! He is a very healthy eater (and sleeper... thank the LORD!!!!) and now weighs over 10 pounds. We honestly just can't get enough of him!!!
