Welcome to the Kurtz Family! I am from south Georgia but married a NOLA boy. He swept me off my feet and moved me to the great state of Louisiana. Together we've created a precious family of two sweet boys.... only 14.5 months apart. We are busy! Brooks is silly, giggly and so much fun! Parker is sweet, cuddly, and so loving. You wouldn't know it by looking at him, but Parker has a rare disease called Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome. We are learning to deal with CVS as a family and keep Parker as healthy as possible!

Nine Months Old!!

Our baby boy is becoming such a big, independent boy!!! He has discovered EVERYTHING this month!! Each day is something new and we are LOVING it! At his 9 month appointment today, he weighed 25.7 lb and is now 30.5 in long. Yes, he grew 4.5 inches in three months!! This keeps him in the 95% for weight... but the big news is that he is now in the 97% for height!! He is just one BIG, HANDSOME little fella! Brooks has four teeth now.. two on top and two on bottom. He continues to sneak a bite in when he hugs and loves on Mommy. Not Daddy.. JUST Mommy! I guess I taste sweeter!!

As I said, he has discovered EVERYTHING this month. Brooks went from doing one little crawl here or there... to crawling from room to room... to pulling to stand... ALL IN THE SAME WEEK! It's been amazing! Our sweet Anabelle is now terrified of her brother crawling after her!

Brooks continues to be a joyful, happy, and smiley little boy! His joy is contagious and we are so blessed to experience it every day! We honestly go to bed each night wondering what he will do the next day. Love that THIS boy is OURS!
